Mother’s Day Tea
In honour of Mother’s Day, Ted Robb will be serenading us today at 2 pm in the living room. Tea and goodies will be served at 2:45 pm. Hope to see you there!
Sunday, May 10th
Happy Mother’s Day
All ladies will be treated to corsages in honour of Mother’s Day. And of course, a special dinner will be served today.

Staff Appreciation Week
It takes a whole team to care well for 33 Residents. This is staff appreciation week, when we celebrate and honour those who make it their profession to help others at the Home. From maintenance to housekeeping, from nursing to laundry, they do it all for you. Take a moment this week to hug a staff member and let them know you are well cared for!

Tulip Festival at Grace Christian Home
Since we are unable to go to Ottawa to attend the yearly Canadian Tulip Festival, we decided to bring it here! Won’t you join us at 2:00 pm in the dining room at Grace Christian Home for our very own Tulip Festival? While we enjoy music provided by the Frazer Family, they’ll be serving tea, coffee and goodies. Please sign up by May 11th.
Monday, May 18th
Victoria Day
Victoria Day is intended to honour the current queen as well as Queen Victoria, who was born May 24, 1819. In celebration of her, the kitchen will be serving Queen
Elizabeth cake at tea time. Mmmm…Good!
Thursday, May 28th
Louis St. Laurent Museum in Compton
At 1:30 pm we’ll be leaving to go and tour the Louis St. Laurent Museum in Compton with some of the residents from Grace Christian Home. Afterwards we’ll enjoy a picnic-style snack in their garden. The cost is $3.90.
